Dr Aileen Murphy is a Senior Lecturer at Department of Economics, UCC, specialising in health economics.
Through her established multi-disciplinary academic and industry network, she attracts significant research funding and regularly leads health economics work packages for funded trials and projects. The resulting impactful knowledge is published in high impact academic journals; disseminated to relevant stakeholders and has informed health policy reform locally and nationally.
She has conducted systematic reviews for the Department of Health and NCEC, advised NHS Scotland, NIHR HTA Programme in the UK and the European Commission. She directed postgraduate programmes in health economics and health care leadership and regularly delivers health economics executive education. She supervises students at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level and research staff.
